Frequently asked question
Q1. What’s the difference between the lighter and heavier Stoolic models?
A:
Both models offer the same functionality — the difference is mainly in weight, stability setup, and shipping cost.
Lighter Model
Easier and more affordable to ship — roughly one-third the cost of shipping the heavier version.
For full stability, it requires either drilling the base into the floor or using the small wheel assembly included with the stool.
Performs just as well once secured, making it ideal for buyers outside the Seattle area or anyone looking to save on shipping.
Heavier Model
Weighs around 100 kg (220 lbs) and is naturally stable on its own — no drilling or wheel assembly needed.
Recommended for those who don’t want to drill the base or use the wheel assembly, and who don’t mind paying more shipping cost (typically over $500 LTL shipping) outside Seattle.
Local delivery available at low cost within the Seattle area.
In short:
If you’re outside Seattle and want to save on shipping, the lighter model is the practical choice — it performs just as well once secured.
If you prefer to skip floor drilling and wheel assembly, the heavier model offers the most stability and convenience.
Q2. I have a round or square base barber chair — will it fit in the Stoolic base?
Yes — almost 90% of standard barber chairs fit perfectly with the Stoolic base.
For round base chairs, it supports up to 27 inches in diameter.
For square or rectangular base chairs, the most important dimension is the width (the side-to-side measurement behind the chair).
If that width is 25 inches or less, the chair will fit securely inside the Stoolic base, regardless of how long the base extends front to back.
If you’re unsure, simply measure the width of your chair’s base and send us a photo or the dimensions — our team will quickly confirm if it’s a perfect fit for you.
Q3. How long does order processing take?
Orders are usually processed within 24 to 48 hours of purchase. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number to follow your delivery.
Q4. How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on your location and the shipping method. Local deliveries take 5-7 business days, while international shipping can take longer, depends on the shipping method and the destination country.
Q5. Do you offer wholesale or retail?
We offer both Wholesale and retails.
Q6. Can I return the product if I change my mind?
Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy, which aligns with the standard return policy of leading U.S. retailers for premium furniture and heavy-duty items. This ensures you can shop with confidence knowing your purchase is protected.
For full details, please visit our Return Policy page on the main website — you can find it at the bottom of the page under “Return Policy.”
Q7. What is the weight capacity of the Stoolic barber stool?
Our stools are built with a heavy‑duty steel frame and can comfortably support up to 150 kg (330 lbs).
Q8. How hard is it to assemble?
Assembly is straightforward but requires some lifting and basic tool use. On average, it takes about 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the person. If you’re comfortable working with tools and can lift moderate weight (around 10–20 kg per part), you can usually complete the assembly in under 30 minutes. For others, it may take closer to about 90 minutes. You’ll need a resizable wrench (adjustable spanner) to tighten the main bolts securely. While the process is not complicated, it does involve handling heavy steel components, so we recommend having a friend or coworker assist, especially for barbers and stylists setting it up in their shop.Overall, the setup is medium difficulty — manageable for most people, but teamwork makes it easier and safer.
⚠️ Assembly Safety Notice
Please follow all basic lifting and safety precautions during setup. Some parts are heavy (10–20 kg each) and require careful handling.
Use proper tools (such as a resizable wrench) and ensure all bolts are securely tightened before use.
Stoolic is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improper assembly or misuse.
For safer installation, we recommend having another person assist with lifting and tightening.
